Publisher 7 lets you search for recorded sessions, exhibits, or parties and publish this information, in both report or record session formats. Publisher 7 allows users of JAVS Suite 7 to produce records for distribution to computer networks, news media outlets, the internet and to optical media.
Once you have scheduled and recorded your sessions, Publisher 7 allows you to publish your content to CD/DVD, USB thumb drive, or network location. Audio video recordings can be accompanied with an interactive table of contents to make reviewing your recordings a breeze. Since your recordings are produced using Microsoft’s .WMV format, an industry standard, they are viewable from any PC.
The search tools in Publisher 7 allow a user to search any relevant field in the database to locate a recorded session. Return results can be filtered by date, department, location, title, and parties, to allow the user to drill down to the exact session or sessions needed for distribution. Users can use Publisher 7 to prepare any combination of sessions to be published though the publishing queue.
From Publisher 7, users can view sessions before publishing, to confirm they are getting ready to supply the correct recordings. Once loaded, the user can play, fast forward, or rewind using the VCR-style controls.
Once the appropriate cases are found, simply click and drag sessions to the publishing queue. If multiple recorders contain the same sessions, the user can choose from the available recorded session video qualities available. As the user chooses their sources, the size of the publishing queue updates to identify how large your publishing job will be.
Publisher 7 allows users to print multiple styles of reports:
Summary Reports & Summary Report By Date—displays the properties of an individual session. Summary Report By Date allows the user to specify a date range.
Session Report-Standard & Session Report By Date-Standard—displays the entire session log for either the selected session or all related sessions. Party information is grouped into a single header at the beginning of the report. Users can choose to include private events, system modes, public and/or private notes. Session Report By Date-Standard allows the user to specify a date range.
Session Report-Detail & Session Report By Date-Detail—similar to the Session Report-Standard, it displays the entire session log. However, a header is provided for each session to display the party information for each session. Session Report by Date-Detail allows the user to specify a date range
Exhibits Report & Exhibits Logged Report—displays all exhibits associated with a master session. Exhibits logged Report displays the log time that each exhibit was sent to the session log.
Parties Report & Parties Logged Report—displays all parties associated with a session. Parties Logged Report displays all parties associated with a session.
