JAVS Server 7 will enable the enterprise features of the JAVS 7 Software Suite with full redundancy. Available as an embedded hardware appliance, or a scripted SQL server database, Server 7 will allow centralized session information, scheduling and shared users and groups for all JAVS systems connected on the network.
JAVS Server 7 Appliance is an embedded hardware solution designed for customers that want to capitalize on the enterprise features of the JAVS 7 Software Suite, but do not have their own SQL Servers or IT personnel. The Server 7 Appliance is configured as two, single rack unit devices, both using enterprise-grade, server-class hardware. Each device is running its own copy of Microsoft SQL 2005/2008 and it’s own copy of the JAVS database. If the primary device has a problem, the secondary can be reconfigured as a primary, helping to minimize downtime to the end users.
JAVS Server 7 Appliance Features:
- Enterprise-grade, server-class hardware

- Hot-swappable hard drives for disk maintenance and maximum availability
- All settings and configuration available through a secure web interface
JAVS Server 7 SQL Server Script:
- Same as above, but runs on a customer’s existing SQL server hardware
- Minimum hardware and software specs:
- Operating System: Windows Server 2003 r2 or greater
- Database Server: SQL Server 2005 or greater configured for SQL authentication and TCP/IP communication
- Network: 100Mbps or greater, static IP address, connectivity to JAVS Suite 7 hardware and software
- Protocols: Unicast/Multicast, UDP, TCP/IP, HTTP, JAVS Security, JAVS Device, SQL, JAVS SFTP via SSH
- Fault Tolerance: RAID disk configuration, minimum level of RAID 1
