ControlCenter 7

ControlCenter 7 is a touch screen interface designed for the purposes of starting and stopping sessions, controlling the audio video processor, as well as the room environment.  ControlCenter 7 gives the users the ability to interact with any JAVS system without the need of a keyboard or mouse.  ControlCenter 7 is configured to the room and the environment, rather than programmed.  This removes the considerable expense associated with typical touch panel control systems.

The ControlCenter 7 main unit connects to any touch screen monitor to provide control functionality to the user.  The main unit requires a network connection and proper configuration to work with any audio video processors or recorders.  The main unit comes with a video capture card to connect up to four independent video sources for monitoring and viewing.

When configured to a JAVS digital recording system the ControlCenter 7 user will be able to start and stop record sessions, view scheduled and logged sessions, mark sessions as public or private and seal or unseal private record sessions.

While in record for any specific session, the ControlCenter 7 user will be able to view all log events, exhibits and system mode messages. From any of these events, the user may select an event to view any attached notes.

By default, ControlCenter 7 ships with system controls for the JAVS audio video processors, which allow a user to select system modes.  All other control modules for ControlCenter 7 are optional add-ins.

Session Controls Module

The Session Controls Module allows Control Center 7 users to start and stop recordings, as well as monitor log events and notes as they happen.

Room Controls Module

The room controls module allows ControlCenter 7 to operate basic room functions such as environment controls, lighting controls and screen controls.

Review Controls Module

The Review Controls Module allows a user to initiate an instant review of previously recorded events and choose whether to display this material to the audience or not.

Video Conference Controls Module

Connected video conferencing units can be operated from the Control Center 7 interface and remove the need for any other remote controls, which typically operate via line of sight principles.

Presentation Controls Module

Allow ControlCenter 7 to manage and select up to twelve auxiliary audio video devices.  Each device can in turn have up to thirty commands for playing, fast-forward, rewind, zoom in, zoom out, etc.

Audience Controls Module

Allows ControlCenter 7 to group monitors and displays so that the user can mute, or unmute audio and video throughout a room, or for a particular grouping, with the touch of a button.
